Adapt to actual conditions and applicable local requirements. Review with a competent person. This template does not replace a risk assessment, permit, required training or job-specific briefing procedure.

Before you deliver this talk
  • Confirm these notes match the current task, hazards and site procedures.
  • Encourage questions and check understanding in a language the team understands.
  • Record real attendance, worker feedback and any additional hazards raised.
  • Assign follow-up actions and confirm they are completed.

Common questions

Does the builder write an approved safety procedure?

No. It formats your own briefing notes. The filled example is fictional and must be adapted and reviewed for actual site conditions.

How do I save a PDF?

Select Print / save PDF, then choose your browser’s Save as PDF destination. The export contains the briefing sheet rather than the editing form.

Are my notes or attendees saved online?

No. This version keeps entries in the current page only. A refresh or closing the tab can lose them. Export before leaving. No digital signatures are collected.

What should the talk include?

Keep it focused on the job. Discuss relevant hazards and controls, invite worker questions, and record feedback, actions and actual attendance. The fields are a practical template, not a universal statutory form.

Can I use this worldwide?

The editable format is general. Required content, consultation, training and retention rules depend on your work and jurisdiction. Check the applicable local requirements.
